PickStar Joins 1000km Ride to Help Beat Blood Cancer
PickStar CEO James Begley embarked on a 1070km bike ride from Melbourne to Adelaide for the Leukaemia Foundation’s Ride As One For Blood Cancer fundraiser 2017.
PickStar is proud to sponsor the event, which supports the families who are facing the challenge of blood cancer and the important work of researchers in this field.

The group of riders departed from St Kilda Beach on Saturday April 29, travelling along the famous Great Ocean Road, into Mount Gambier, then through the South Australian Coorong before arriving in Adelaide on Friday May 5.
“My form and training has consisted of one ride in the last nine months and a few too many burgers, so I am slightly nervous,” Begley said.
“However, after joining the ride in 2016 I was impacted by the stories of survival and loss, 35 people are diagnosed with blood born cancer every day, and I want to do what ever small bit I can to support this worthy cause.”
