Sports Star Gives Greenlees Netball Club Juniors a Presentation Day to Remember

Secure a local netball star to attend the Greenlees Netball Club Junior Presentation Day in Sydney, hand out awards and entertain fans with insights into what it takes to be a successful athlete.
Solution
Greenlees Netball Club reached out to Pickstar looking for a netballer to bring some star power to their Junior Presentation Day. The Sydney-based club needed a well-known sports star to hand out medals to the young players and share stories and insights from their careers. Allayne from Greenlees looked through PickStar’s extensive network of over 1200 athletes to create a shortlist of netballers in the Sydney area. The shortlist included NSW Swift Centre Maddy Proud, who jumped at the opportunity to attend the event. PickStar's innovative system facilitated the arrangement between Maddy and the netball club and plans for the day were finalised.
Outcome
The junior netballers were thrilled to have one of their favourite netballers present their awards at the junior presentation day and had the opportunity to hear firsthand what it takes to make it to the top of the game.
Maddy also posed for photos with the young players, signed copies of her book, and engaged with her young fans.
“Maddy was great!" Says Alaynne from Greenlees.
"She arrived on time, was fun and open to all members, young and old, both during the presentation and afterwards in a meet and greet. Grace on Court was a hit too! Everyone loved having her as part of our celebrations and (we) hope to work with her again.”
